Vårdkedjan Davidsbo new member of Humana family
Humana has acquired Davidsbo, a care group comprising a chain a care homes, counsellor-supported family care and specialist psychiatry.
Davidsbo operates the Löjtnantsgården and Stinsen HVB special care homes and two training home facilities, all located in Norberg. In addition to this, the company operates an open care facility focusing on dog breeding, hunting and wild game preservation. The company also operates a psychiatric family care unit with the support of a separate psychiatric care company, Cureum, in Örebro and Västerås. The customer base is currently nationwide.
The takeover takes immediate effect and will not entail any changes in the company’s operations, management or personnel. Davidsbo will serve as a valuable complement to Humana’s other Individual & Family operations and represents the same high quality, focus on the individual, and competence.
“We welcome Davidsbo as a new member of the Humana family,” comments Claus Forum, Head of the Individual & Family business area. “Through this acquisition we have further strengthened our efforts to offer the best care and treatment available for children and youths as well as for adults. Our shared values foundation and focus on the individual give us a shared vision on how to conduct quality care operations and is something that unites us all in Humana’s Individual & Family business area. We look forward to working together with Christer Filipsson and his team.”
Davidsbo further strengthens Humana’s Individual & Family business area, comprising the companies Adventum, Baggium Vård- och Behandling, K REHAB and Tiangruppen.
