Humana builds new Elderly Care home in Strängnäs

Humana has won the procurement and signed an agreement for a new elderly care home with 100 apartments in Strängnäs. The procurement includes both building and running the operations on behalf of the municipality. The elderly care home is planned to open in spring 2025 and the contract runs for 20 years in total.

With this agreement, Strängnäs municipality secures access to 100 apartments for many years to come. In connection with the opening, there will be an operational transition from Thomasgården, an elderly care home with 40 apartments, where residents are offered accommodation in the new facility and staff are offered employment. Humana will together with Odalen fastigheter develop the new elderly care home and Humana will run the operations. It will be built in the area of Södra stadsskogen.
